PGECET 2011 Web Counseling for admission to M.Tech, M.Pharmacy and Pharma.D Courses for the year 2011-12 will be conducted from 9th November 2011. Detailed information of certificate verification, exercise of web options, seats allotment, download of allotment order and fee details will be released by the APSCHE of Osmania University. Admission to M.E./ M.Tech./M.Pharm./ M.Arch./ M.Planning./ Pharm.D courses in Andhra Pradesh will be done based on the ranks in PGECET 2011-12. Candidates have to exercise web options through http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in

Candidates who got their certificates already verified need not appear.
Certificates to be produced, list of Help Line Centers,processing fee and fee particulars, instructions to exercise options and vacancies in various colleges are available on the web site http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in
Web options: All the eligible Candidates (including those appeared in the First Phase) are allowed to
exercise web options from 03-12-2011 to 06-12-2011.

Already admitted candidates also can exercise options. Once seat is allotted in this Phase, the seat allotted in the First Phase automatically gets cancelled.

List of Certificates to be produced for verification at helpline centers:

1. S.S.C. / 10th Class Marks memo
2. Intermediate Marks Memo
3. B.Tech./ BE / B.Arch / B.Pharm / M.Sc./ MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc. or other relevant  Degree Marks Memos
4. Study Certificates from Relevant Degree to Tenth Class,
5. Residence certificate in case of non local candidate.
6. Income certificate issued by Govt. of AP after 01-01-2011

Notification of counseling:
GPAT and PGECET qualified and eligible Candidates of 2011 are informed to attend PGEC / PGECET Web counseling for admission into M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Planning/M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D (P.B.) courses for the academic year 2011-2012 as per the schedule given below at any one of the Help Line centers.
Certificates to be produced, list of help line centers, fee particulars, instructions to exercise options and
vacancies in various colleges will be available on the web site http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in Candidates have to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs.300/- (SC/ST) and Rs.600/-(others) at the time of
certificate verification.

Candidates are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed by the respective universities
and should be prepared to pay the tution fee as applicable.

  1.  This notification itself is a call for counseling.No separate call letters are sent to the individual candidates.
  2.  Mere attending counseling does not guarantee a seat.
  3.  The left over seats after allotment for GATE / GPAT Candidates are alone available for PGECET candidates. Candidates are advised to visit the website
    http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in      for vacancies before attending certificate verification.
  4.  Special category candidates will be called for counseling after first round of web counseling.

    Processing fee for Certificate Verification:

    Candidates belonging to open category and Backward classes have to pay processing fee of Rs.600/- and Candidates belonging to SC/ST have to pay a fee of Rs.300/- in favor of APSCHE Hyderabad.

    Details of Tution Fee :

    Tution Fee in University Colleges is Rs.15,000-Rs.25,000 per semester.
    Tution Fee in University Colleges( Self Finance Course) Rs.57,000 per annum.
    Tution Fee in private unaided Colleges is Rs.57,000 per annum.
    The tuition fee is to be paid in the favour of Convenor, PGECET 2010,Admissions Hyderabad.

      web counseling is the process of filling the options of colleges according to our priority through online..for that they will give you user name and password..the web counseling process is not yet started..the web counseling will starts only after the certificate verification..the details are not yet reviled..i will intimate you soon..

      yes ofcouse we have to submit CMM and PC as these are only proofs of graduated marks.

      the candidates of less Income (who need to apply for scholarships & other government benefits) have to produce Income Certificate.

      138 is good rank.you may get in top ten colleges..coming on to your course..you have taken ST exam, you are eligible to take the courses which was under ST exam..i am updating the above post with information booklet download it and refer, you will find the course wise and exam wise eligibility and i hope your all dough's will be cleared..(the list of all colleges also posted above)..all the best

      the branch wise intake for JNTU Kukatpally is only 18seats for CS branch..for the general category of 76 rank..i don't think..because some seats are already filled up by gate qualifiers...but try for that..keep as much options of top colleges according to priority ..i hope you get good university college..all the best..

      the list of all colleges is given above. ...please find the attachment of above link..comming on to your rank and its alloatment..it depends on your reservation and rank..as the process is through web counselling so put the top colleges of your like according to priority..getting is secondary thing,by doing this the chances are more to get the good college..according to me all the university colleges are good and almost same..and secondly
      the colleges of naac accredited are good colleges..the NAAC gives the rating to the list of naac accredited colleges..i suggest to follow this..the colleges of your own locality is also equally important to consider..so. make your top list by colleges of your preferences and search about that college and its key features on internet..all the best

      the list which u have provided for m.pharm is not the new once..

      from past two years the same M.pharm college list is showing in google search...

      so many new colleges have been approved for m.pharm...

      please provide..


      for example... in nalgonda "sri sarada college of pharmacy" got approval for M.pharm- pharmaceutics, and "Vivekananda college of pharmacy" warangan high way,

      if i search in google it is not showing....

      then how can we other colleges?

      no one can say exactly which college comes for the particular rank as its depends on fate,,..but...we can make it good...by keeping as much options as possible in web counseling according to priority... for example if i keep as much options..which starts from top colleges according to my desire and priority...at my rank of counseling..the system checks,if their any seats are vacant one by one according to my priority...i may get good college....

      so... keep as much options as possible...

      if you hall ticket is lost its.. ok..no need to worry..its just manditory..but take rank card..if you do not have rank card also you can download it in site...

      you need to take the below as compulsory..

      1. S.S.C. / 10th Class Marks memo
      2. Intermediate Marks Memo
      3. B.Tech./ BE / B.Arch / B.Pharm / M.Sc./ MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc. or other relevant Degree Marks Memos
      4. Study Certificates from Relevant Degree to Tenth Class,
      5. Residence certificate in case of non local candidate.
      6. Income certificate issued by Govt. of AP after 01-01-2011

      go to the e-seva centers with your ration card and try for the residence certificate(i have heard that they can also give so try for it...)..else go with ration card or aadhar card they may consider that i think..(its on your own risk)..... pan card is not the residence proof..

      i wrote pgecet under EC can i do specialization in VLSI or Embedded systems.
      or i should write pgecet under D.S.C.E to do specialization in VLSI or Embedded system

      it this is given in PGECET 2011 information booklet.

      my main doubt is it is given in PGECET 2011 information booklet.
      in eligibility block it has given that BE/BTECH in ECE/CSE/ ….. etc or eqivalent DS for courses VLSI and Embedded

    Hello friends in this post i want to share my experience of the great mind challenge 2010 which was organised by the IBM . This contest is all about the project development. It is very helpful for engineering students.i am studying B.Tech final year,as i have to submit the academic project, i will submit the same project which i will develop in TGMC.. Its very strang thing that the same project for academic and also for the contest.  I suggest you too go to the IBM's TGMC website and register.you will also get the participation certificate..it worth's more.. .they will also provide you the software , and more materials.. Its free..all you need is good team of members between 2-4 and with a faculty to guide you. All the development and submission process takes place throw online...
