NASA satellite falls back to earth

I heard about the news of "NASA satellite falls back to earth" through the various news websites..i was wonder how it happened...the upper atmosphere research satellite falls out of gas and out of control after two decades in space. it had happened this saturday..it was very heat and breaking apart while falling down 500-mile-long downrange impact zone.

the nasa said that "NASA's decommissioned Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite fell back to Earth between 11:23 p.m. EDT Friday, Sept. 23, and 1:09 a.m. EDT Sept. 24 and The satellite was passing eastward over Canada and Africa as well as vast portions of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans during that period"the satellite weight is 6.3-ton..

like this happened in 2003 also while reentry of satellite 42.5 tons of wreckage from the shuttle Columbia hit the ground in a footprint stretching from central Texas to Louisiana when the orbiter broke No one on the ground was injured and no significant property damage was reported.

I Registered TGMC 2010

Hello friends in this post i want to share my experience of the great mind challenge 2010 which was organised by the IBM . This contest is all about the project development. It is very helpful for engineering students.i am studying B.Tech final year,as i have to submit the academic project, i will submit the same project which i will develop in TGMC.. Its very strang thing that the same project for academic and also for the contest.  I suggest you too go to the IBM's TGMC website and register.you will also get the participation certificate..it worth's more.. .they will also provide you the software , and more materials.. Its free..all you need is good team of members between 2-4 and with a faculty to guide you. All the development and submission process takes place throw online...
