Required Resources For TGMC 2010

HI friends in this post i will give you information about the major Required Resources For TGMC 2010 project development  up to my knowledge..
For web project you need to know
1.HTML,Javascript,JSP,servlets,AJAX,XML,XQuery,SQL
if you are trying advanced
it may go to webservices, SOA, struct/spring, JSF

If you are doing system project
2.Swing,SQL,XML

I suggest you to do a combination of both.
Regarding Learning. (Front end)
1.html
2.CSS
3.Javascript
For dynamic Processing (Basic java should be known)
4.JSP
5.servlets
6.swings (this will take time, practice a lot wonders can be done through this (for admins))
7.AJAX(you should know both JSP and javascript for AJAX)

Back End
1.Good understanding of SQL
2.Installing db2, basic features of db2 such as CLP,db2 cc,Query Analyzer
3.connectivity code (code which connects your web server and database)

you should be knowing some softwares of IBM like RAD
RAD is nothing but a IDE for Java/J2EE/Web application in which you will be able to run server

1. You should install RAD
2. and DB2 (both mandatory)
3.Tivoli and Lotus (if necessary)

    specially about the description and templates pats..

    firstly every person in your team should register individually.
    one of you just signin and goto mygroups->start a group-> here you specify your team peoples display names and your team name.and add them. thats it..
    you can customize your team templetes ,wikis,widgets etc in customize menu

    hi , my team has made the whole site using jsp and servlets and now we want to use tivoli for backup
    bt are confused how to use it ?
    is it to be used manually by the admin or we'll have to design an interface for it
    and which product of tivoli shall we use ?
    pls help

I Registered TGMC 2010

Hello friends in this post i want to share my experience of the great mind challenge 2010 which was organised by the IBM . This contest is all about the project development. It is very helpful for engineering students.i am studying B.Tech final year,as i have to submit the academic project, i will submit the same project which i will develop in TGMC.. Its very strang thing that the same project for academic and also for the contest.  I suggest you too go to the IBM's TGMC website and register.you will also get the participation certificate..it worth's more.. .they will also provide you the software , and more materials.. Its free..all you need is good team of members between 2-4 and with a faculty to guide you. All the development and submission process takes place throw online...
