For my TGMC 2010 project....i am decided to design the front end with Ajax..,if you ask me what is the features to use the ajax...is well.the features that i explain is........The Ajax is the .shorthand for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML  .it means the combination of the both. javascript and XML..It is is a group of interrelated web development techniques used on the client-side to create interactive web applications. hi..friends i  decided to choose the DB2 as the database back end for my Online Job portal Project. i will give you some info about DB2 in this post and you may know why do i choose DB2. its data base software is full featured, robust software,its scalable and very easy to use..as i haven't used never before because we do not have such kind of course in our acadamic..and i have to learn.. For web project you need to know 1.HTML,Javascript,JSP,servlets,AJAX,XML,XQuery,SQL if you are trying advanced it may go to webservices, SOA, struct/spring, JSF If you are doing system project 2.Swing,SQL,XML I suggest you to do a combination of both. Regarding Learning. Hello friends in this post i want to share my experience of the great mind challenge 2010 which was organised by the IBM . This contest is all about the project development. It is very helpful for engineering students.i am studying B.Tech final year,as i have to submit the academic project, i will submit the same project which i will develop in TGMC.. Its very strang thing that the same project for academic and also for the contest.  I suggest you too go to the IBM's TGMC website and register.you will also get the participation certificate..it worth's more.. .they will also provide you the software , and more materials.. Its free..all you need is good team of members between 2-4 and with a faculty to guide you. All the development and submission process takes place throw online...
